Monarch Data Center - Bldg 4

The Monarch Data Center Campus, located at 150-155 Penrose Lane in Yerington, Nevada, is a significant development project by Copia Power. The campus spans 505 acres and is divided into north and south sections. It is designed to include data center buildings, a battery energy storage system, a natural gas backup system, a substation, and associated power lines.

The first phase of development is planned to deliver 150MW of capacity across two to four data center buildings. While the total capacity at full completion is not specified, the natural gas system alone is slated to provide up to 500MW. Copia Power estimates the campus will be fully operational within two to three years, contingent on the availability of utility infrastructure, specifically the completion of NV Energy's Walker River Substation complex and the Greenlink transmission line project.

The end-user for this data center remains undisclosed. Copia Power, founded in 2021, has a substantial energy generation portfolio and pipeline, with a focus on the Western US. The Yerington market is notable for its proximity to other major tech companies with data center operations in the broader Reno area.
