Microsoft Silver Springs

Microsoft is expanding its cloud infrastructure with a substantial data center development in Silver Springs, Nevada. The company owns approximately 274 acres of land, located at 1200 W Hwy 50 and other addresses on Rhyolite Lane, directly opposite the Silver Springs Airport. This land, acquired in January 2023 for $16.425 million, is undergoing a restructuring of six parcels into three larger ones, with the primary parcel measuring 223.18 acres. The site is zoned for neighborhood-commercial or employment uses and will require roadway and utility improvements. Silver Springs is situated west of Reno, positioning this facility within a growing technological hub.
