US Internet, a local ISP in Minnesota, is set to redevelop the site of the former Robbinsdale Clinic into a 4,000-square-foot data center. Located in Robbinsdale, this property was home to the state’s oldest abortion clinic, which closed earlier this year due to financial challenges.

The Robbinsdale City Council approved the necessary permits for the project in March. US Internet clarified that the facility will function more as a fiber switching station than a high-power data mining center. The new data center will support the company's local fiber network expansion.

Meyer Group Architecture has completed the design, and US Internet—which already operates a 20,000-square-foot colocation facility in Minnetonka—continues to build small exchange hubs across the Twin Cities area. A separate memorial was held at the site by a pro-life group prior to demolition, marking the clinic's history.
