Minneapolis State Tax Refund
The amendment of the 2011 State of Minnesota sales and use taxes statute provides a long-term sales tax refund for technology equipment and computer software used in qualifying data centers. The MSP1 data center qualifies for this program, which means that Cyxtera customers who purchase hardware and software to place in our data center are eligible for a sales tax refund on that purchase too. This reduces the total cost of ownership for that IT infrastructure versus installing it in a non-qualified data center.
