The Consolidated Communications Mankato Data Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the needs of modern businesses. It offers round-the-clock access every day of the year, ensuring that clients can reach their secure, lockable cabinets whenever necessary. The data center provides a variety of rack spaces, including full 45U secured cabinets and half-rack 22U lockable units, accommodating equipment of up to 36 inches in depth.
In terms of power, the center is well-equipped with redundant 110 volt 15 Amp circuits as standard, with alternative power options available upon request. Security is paramount, with card access entry, a comprehensive CCTV surveillance system, alarm and key monitoring, and staffing during standard business hours from Monday to Friday.
The electrical infrastructure is robust, featuring 208v 3 phase power supplied by a roof-mounted Xcel Energy transformer and a commercial-grade 675kW onsite generator. The environmental control system is equally impressive, with two active and two reserve 20-ton A/C and HVAC units managed by a Liebert system, which is also backed up by the onsite generator. This system ensures that temperature and humidity are meticulously controlled and monitored.
Lastly, the fire suppression system includes a Halon system, smoke detectors, a Vesda system, and water detectors strategically placed under the floor and in the ceiling, providing comprehensive safety measures for the facility. The Mankato Data Center is designed to offer reliability and security, ensuring that clients' data is protected and accessible in a controlled environment.
