Lighthouse Holt

Lighthouse Holt is a proposed data center campus located in Delhi Township, Michigan, near Lansing. The project is currently in a listening phase, with community engagement beginning October 27, 2026, to gather input on protections, safeguards, and benefits before any application is filed. Lighthouse Sustainability is exploring the development of this data center campus on a 423-acre site designated as an "Economic Opportunity property." Key proposed commitments include a Community Benefits Agreement, a Community Investment Fund, lower residential electric bills through a solar and battery partnership, clean power with renewable energy and battery storage, closed-loop cooling systems, preservation of wetlands with a conservation easement, noise and light mitigation, skills training programs, and revenue generation for local services through property taxes. The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) is a site partner, holding an option to buy the property and securing state funding for site readiness. A data center developer and end user have not yet been selected. The project is subject to a township moratorium until approximately April 7, 2027.
