Related Digital Saline Township

The site would host up to five buildings totaling 2.2 million square feet, including three large data halls, a generator facility, warehouse, and administrative office. The project is designed to support hyperscale clients and would be powered by nearby DTE and ITC substations.
The development plan includes dry cooling systems and an onsite wastewater treatment plant to minimize environmental impact. Related has pledged over $3 million in community contributions, including upgrades to emergency services and local infrastructure. The facility is expected to create around 150 permanent jobs and generate significant tax revenue for the township.
Local officials have delayed a vote on rezoning the site from agricultural to industrial use, citing the need for more information. Public concerns include traffic congestion, water runoff, and electrical reliability. A final decision is expected at the next township board meeting in September.
