TeraWulf is developing a significant data center campus on a 750-acre former aluminum processing site in Hawesville, Kentucky. This facility is designed to support high-performance computing and artificial intelligence workloads.
The site offers immediate access to robust power infrastructure, including multiple high-voltage transmission lines, an on-site energized substation, and a direct connection to the regional transmission network. It currently boasts approximately 480MW of existing power capacity, with potential for future expansion.
The development will be carried out in phases, allowing TeraWulf to scale the facility efficiently in response to customer demand. The project aims to repurpose the site for productive use, benefiting the local community and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
