The Muskie Data Campus, located in Ashland, Kentucky, is a significant expansion of TeraWulf's digital infrastructure portfolio, designed to support over 1 gigawatt (GW) of data center capacity for AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) workloads. The site, spanning approximately 285 acres within the 1,000-acre EastPark Industrial Park, is strategically positioned with access to utility-scale power infrastructure. Kentucky Power is constructing a 345 kV substation connected to the existing 765 kV transmission network, ensuring redundant and reliable power delivery. Initial delivery of 500 megawatts (MW) is anticipated in the second half of 2028, with an additional 500 MW planned for the second half of 2030. The campus is zoned for its intended use, with permitting underway, facilitating a clear path to construction commencement and accelerated time-to-power. TeraWulf aims to collaborate with regional institutions on workforce training and economic development initiatives, positioning the Muskie Data Campus as a key driver for economic growth in northeastern Kentucky.
