Cormor Data Shelter (CDS) is a proposed data center development located in Wellington, Kansas, a city situated between Wichita and Oklahoma's southern border. This project is a collaboration between Cormor, a Canadian 3D construction firm, and Data Shelter, LLC, a US-based data center company founded in 2016. The facility is planned to be Tier IV quality and will utilize a proprietary waterless cooling system. Initially, it is expected to offer 14.7MW of power, with modular pods allowing for expansion up to 100MW. The site, spanning 31,000 sq ft (2,880 sqm), is designed to accommodate 384 racks, with a high density of 160kW per rack. The project also features a flywheel UPS system. This marks CDS's first announced project.
