Edged is developing a 13-megawatt data center in Ankeny, Iowa, strategically positioned near Des Moines. The facility spans 17 acres and is designed for high-density AI workloads, leveraging the region’s affordable renewable power and high-speed fiber network.

The site features advanced waterless cooling, utilizing Edged’s ThermalWorks modular system to support ultra-high densities of up to 200 kW per rack. This approach eliminates water consumption for cooling, saving over 52 million gallons annually compared to conventional data centers.

Built to Tier III design standards, the facility ensures 99.9999% uptime with N+1 power, UPS, and cooling systems. Edged Des Moines is part of a growing network of ultra-efficient data centers across North America, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability and performance.
