Edged is developing a 200MW data center campus in Council Bluffs, Iowa, under the project name “Project Lola.” Originally approved for two 80-foot-tall buildings totaling 900,000 sq ft, the plan has been scaled down to better align with customer requirements and site optimization. The revised design includes two 285,445 sq ft buildings, each standing 36 feet, 3 inches tall, along with an administrative building.
Instead of relying on a MidAmerican Energy substation, Edged will install two owner-operated substations, a switchyard, and overhead electric infrastructure to support the facility. Despite the reduced footprint, the total planned capacity remains at 200MW, maintaining the project's strategic significance.
