QTS is developing a new data center campus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The project, covering 560 acres within the Big Cedar Industrial Center, involves an investment of $750 million. The campus will include one or more data center buildings in each phase, with each building ranging from 300,000 to 1.4 million square feet. Construction is set to begin within the next three years, with the first phase expected to be completed within six years. The project will bring significant economic benefits to the area, including job creation and community betterment payments.
