Western Hospitality Partners is developing a significant data center project in South Bend, Indiana. The facility, named WHP South Bend, will be situated on a 300-acre campus located northeast of the U.S. 31/20 bypass, near the ethanol plant and across Prairie Avenue from Four Winds Casino.

The project is planned as a 10-shell data center. Construction is slated to commence in approximately one year, with the facility expected to be operational a year after construction begins.

The site is already zoned for industrial use under the city's 2020 zoning ordinance, which previously included light industrial and general industrial zoning classifications. This existing zoning means the project may not require a rezoning process that would typically involve public input.
