The KARIS DeKalb Campus is a planned 132-acre data center development situated at Peace and Guler roads in DeKalb, Illinois, part of the wider Chicago market. The project, proposed by Karis Acquisitions, a subsidiary of Karis Capital, outlines the construction of seven two-story data center buildings, each approximately 250,000 sq ft. ComEd is expected to build a 20-acre substation on-site to support the campus and surrounding areas. This development is designed to be cohesive with existing industrial and planned industrial zones. The project is anticipated to create between 75 to 100 jobs per building. The proposed campus is located near an existing Meta data center and a Kraft Heinz distribution center.
