HW Technology Park is a proposed data center development located on a 795-acre parcel of land in south Joliet, Illinois, within the Chicago market. The project, spearheaded by HW Technology Park Development LLC, a division of Hillwood Development Company, plans for a three-story facility. The development includes 24 data center-related buildings and the construction of a ComEd substation, funded by HW Technology. Initial construction is anticipated to begin in 2027. The site is bordered by Schweitzer Road to the north and Millsdale Road to the south. Discussions are ongoing with the city regarding electricity and water consumption. Joliet is situated approximately 40 miles southwest of Chicago, a significant data center hub.
