The EdgeConneX Chicago Data Center campus, located 25 miles from Downtown Chicago, provides a carrier-neutral, purpose-built network connectivity platform. It is designed for Cloud, Content, Network, and IT providers to deploy infrastructure close to their customers, ensuring optimal performance, security, availability, and economics.

The campus features robust power and cooling with high reliability and industry-leading uptime. CHI01 has achieved ENERGY STAR® certification, demonstrating superior energy performance. The campus also holds a UL 2799 Landfill Diversion certification.

Facilities are purpose-built to Tier-3 standards, offering flexibility for deployments from single racks to build-to-suit data centers. The campus supports multi-hybrid cloud access solutions, with local access to major CSPs like AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle. It hosts numerous Network Service Providers (NSPs) and Multiple System Operators (MSOs) for interconnection, along with the Chicago IX and Megaport's cloud access solution.

Security measures include multi-stage containment systems, mantraps, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, and strict access protocols. Fire suppression is handled by pre-action, zoned dry-pipe sprinkler systems. The data centers are SOC2 Type 9, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA compliant.
