Chilled AI 300W is a proposed data center development located at 300 West Adams Street in Chicago, Illinois. The project involves the conversion of a portion of the 12-story, 240,000 sq ft 300 West Adams Building, originally constructed around 1972 and designated a Chicago Landmark in 2009. The development plans include the construction of a new ComEd vault on the first floor, data center equipment and support infrastructure on floors two through six, and the installation of backup generators on the roof. Local real estate developer Igor Gabal is leading the project, with Strategic Value Partners recently signing a deal to partner on the conversion.
