Diode Ventures is planning the Gemstone Technology Park, a significant data center campus located on 620 acres in Kuna, Idaho, just outside Boise. The project has received approval from local officials, including the Kuna City Council. The undeveloped land, situated at 3250 S. Locust Grove Road, is slated for the development of up to five data center buildings. Diode Ventures has expressed commitment to sustainable growth and community partnership, addressing concerns regarding traffic and landscaping. The project was first discussed with the city in the fall of 2023, with references appearing in city documents by July 2024. The site, currently zoned agricultural, is undergoing rezoning to M-1 light industrial.
