The Rumble Technology Campus is a large-scale digital infrastructure site located in Monroe County, Georgia. Originally proposed by Data Core Innovations in 2024, the project spans approximately 900 acres and is designed to accommodate 12 buildings totaling 4.2 million square feet of data center space. The land was rezoned from agricultural to industrial, paving the way for what is now a $1.2 billion multi-phase development stretching through 2038 or 2039.
Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a company founded by former Microsoft energy chief Brian Janous, has since taken over the project. Rather than constructing data centers itself, Cloverleaf prepares energy-efficient, fully zoned sites for other developers. In 2025, it filed a new application to expand the campus footprint by 325 contiguous acres, aiming to protect wetland areas and better distribute the buildings across the site.
The campus is strategically positioned to meet growing demands for low-carbon, high-capacity digital infrastructure. Backed by $300 million in funding from private equity firms NGP and Sandbrook Capital, Cloverleaf’s development reflects the broader growth of Georgia’s data center market, especially in regions outside the traditional hub of Fulton County.
