Google's PRL2 data center campus, located at 411 Pegasus Parkway in LaGrange, Georgia, is set for a substantial expansion. The project involves the development of a new 470,000 sq ft data center building, which is valued at $1 billion. This new facility will join an existing structure on the 270-acre site. Construction for this phase is anticipated to continue until 2029. The site was formerly a manufacturing location for Jindal Films and was previously under development by Thor Equities. LaGrange is situated approximately 70 miles southwest of Atlanta. Google has confirmed its involvement in this project, with work already underway on the initial building. This expansion in LaGrange complements Google's existing data center presence in Georgia, including a campus in Douglas County and ongoing development in Monroe County.
