Google White Oak Technology Park, located in Appling, Georgia, is a significant data center development encompassing 8.076 million sq ft of buildings, with 8.004 million sq ft dedicated to data center operations. Developed by Trammell Crow Company, a CBRE subsidiary, this campus is situated on 1,900 acres northwest of the existing White Oak Business Park. Google has been identified as the sole end-user and operator of the facility, which will comprise 23 data center buildings. The project aims to attract world-class technology businesses and is projected to generate substantial tax revenue for Columbia County, strengthening its commercial tax base. The development has received rezoning support for specialized technology uses, including data centers, research and development, and cybersecurity providers. The first phase of development is expected within two years, with subsequent phases planned over the following decade.
