Microsoft is planning a significant expansion of its data center infrastructure with the development of the ATL50 campus in Union City, Georgia. Located at 5235 Stonewall Tell Road, southwest of Atlanta, this project involves the construction of two three-story buildings spanning a total of 910,000 sq ft on an 88-acre parcel.
The Developments of Regional Impact application filed with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs outlines the scope of this new facility. The ATL50 campus is anticipated to launch in 2032, further solidifying Microsoft's substantial presence in Georgia, which includes existing operations in various locations across the state.
This development is separate from another reported Microsoft project in Union City, located at 4810 Stonewall Tell Road, which is being developed in partnership with EdgeConneX and is expected to deliver 324MW across 2.1 million sq ft.
