The Henderson Farms Campus, located in Hampton, Georgia, is a 133-acre data center development approved by Hampton officials. Situated north of Georgia 20 at McDonough Street, this site is part of the undeveloped 900-acre Henderson Farms mixed-use project.
Southeast Property Holdings LLC is developing the campus, which will consist of three buildings, each measuring 195,000 sq ft, and will include an electrical substation. The project has received a conditional use permit within the site's existing mixed-use zoning.
Discussions are underway with the University of Georgia for a hydroponic farm and training facility. Southeast Property Holdings will manage power supply negotiations. The development includes conditions such as preserving property line buffers, landscaping for screening, donating produce to non-profits, setting aside land for a city park, contributing to Hampton, incorporating green roofing, and conducting a noise impact study. Sustainable strategies for water consumption and pedestrian improvements are also required.
