Grind Capital Group has secured zoning approval to develop a 108MW data center campus in Marietta, Georgia, just northwest of Atlanta. The project, located at 1751 Bells Ferry Road, will transform a 31-acre site—currently home to a cell tower and five billboards—into a 347,200 sq ft hyperscale-class facility. The campus will include two two-story buildings: DC-1 at 213,600 sq ft with 48MW IT load, and DC-2 at 133,600 sq ft with 24MW IT load.
The campus will use closed-loop cooling systems and feature an on-site substation, while the existing cell tower will be relocated closer to the site entrance. Efforts are being made to visually shield the 105-foot-tall structures from neighboring residential areas through grading and tree planting. Strategically located near I-75 and a major power line, the site offers prime connectivity and energy access.
