Equinix Great Oaks South Campus

The Equinix Great Oaks South Data Center (GOSDC) is an expansive 18-acre campus located at 123 Great Oaks Boulevard in San Jose, California. This facility comprises three distinct two-story buildings, totaling over 158,000 square feet of space. Designed to meet high-density, colocation, and hyperscale requirements within the Silicon Valley market, the campus features 3,744 cabinets and significant power infrastructure.

Power is supplied via a dedicated Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) substation, supported by 115 kV transmission line extensions. The site includes six generation yards equipped with 36 diesel generators, each with a 3.25 MW capacity, ensuring substantial power redundancy. As part of the larger Great Oaks campus, which includes SV1, SV11, and SV12, this facility is positioned for future expansion, with approvals for a significant increase in allowed data center square footage. The campus provides robust connectivity options essential for modern digital infrastructure.
