LBA Realty is planning a dual data center development on two adjoining plots in San Jose, California. The project includes a 206,300 sq ft facility on an 18.1-acre site, featuring office space and an electrical substation. A second structure, located on a 10.3-acre lot, will span 208,000 sq ft and also incorporate office amenities. These buildings are designed to support high-performance IT operations, likely serving colocation or hyperscale tenants.

The land, situated between Orchard Parkway and the Guadalupe River, was previously designated for residential and commercial use before shifting toward digital infrastructure. It is owned by an affiliate of LBA Realty, which has a history of strategic land transactions in the area, including a notable sale to Microsoft in 2021.

Once completed, the proposed facilities will contribute to San Jose’s expanding role as a data center hub, aligning with the region’s robust fiber networks and power availability. The scale and location of the project position it to attract enterprise and cloud providers seeking proximity to Silicon Valley.
