A large-scale data center campus is planned for West Memphis, Arkansas, under the name Project Pyramid. The facility will span 1,178 acres on the south side of Bollinger Road, near a Coca-Cola bottling plant. The project, led by Groot LLC, will feature five data center buildings and an on-site substation, with Entergy Arkansas providing power to the site.

The West Memphis City Council has approved agreements with Groot LLC, including a $10 billion payment-in-lieu-of-taxes arrangement. City officials are working with a Fortune 100 company, which reports suggest may be Google, though no official announcement has been made. The project is currently undergoing environmental approval from the US Army Corps of Engineers.

This development is expected to bring high-paying jobs and long-term economic growth to the region. Reports indicate that Groot LLC acquired the land in November 2024, and the project aligns with broader efforts to expand digital infrastructure in Arkansas.
