NTT Global Data Centers has acquired a 173-acre site in Mesa, Arizona, for the development of a new data center campus. The project, located at the northeast corner of Pecos and Crismon roads, will feature seven buildings with a total floorspace of nearly 1.7 million square feet. The campus is designed to offer 360MW of capacity and will include a 100,000-square-foot warehouse and a two-story office building.
Construction is set to begin soon, with the first building expected to be operational by November 2028. The site was previously part of the Pacific Proving Technology Campus and has been repurposed for this ambitious data center project. This development marks NTT's second site in Phoenix, complementing its existing 102-acre, 240MW campus located a few miles north.
The Mesa area is becoming a major hub for data center activity, attracting companies like Meta, Apple, and CyrusOne. NTT's new campus will further strengthen the region's position as a key player in the digital infrastructure landscape.
