This strategic acquisition, costing $21.7 million, is situated in close proximity to a previously sold 2,100-acre data center site, indicating a deliberate move to capitalize on the growing demand for data center infrastructure in the region.

The site is projected to accommodate up to 3.5 million square feet of data center space, with potential investments ranging from $1 billion to $4 billion. ALC is exploring options to sell the land to a data center developer or to lead the development itself, signaling a potential expansion into the development sector. The location is also noted for its proximity to the Buckeye Municipal Airport, suggesting a synergistic relationship with aviation growth. Phoenix is a recognized major data center market, with numerous industry players already established in the area.
