Arizona Land Consulting (ALC) has acquired 2,000 acres in Buckeye, Arizona, with plans to develop a 1.5GW data center. The land, formerly part of Hassayampa Ranch, is located near Bill Gates’ proposed Belmont smart city.
The project, backed by venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, is estimated to cost $25 billion at full build-out. While development timelines remain unclear, ALC is working through entitlements and regulatory permitting to begin construction.
