STAK Energy North Slopes

STAK Energy North Slopes is a proposed large-scale data center campus located on Alaska's North Slopes, adjacent to the Dalton Highway and approximately 26 miles south of Deadhorse. The facility is planned to have a capacity of up to 3GW and will be powered by on-site natural gas generation, with new pipelines under development. The campus will feature modular high-performance computing units, operations and maintenance buildings, and fiber optic links. STAK Energy plans to utilize the region's cold ambient temperatures for efficient cooling. The project is scheduled for construction to commence in summer 2026, with initial operations anticipated by late 2028, and will be built in phases. The data center is intended to serve cloud computing, AI training, and other data operations for existing North Slope oil and gas producers.
