GEOCENTER is GEOCOM Uruguay’s flagship data center, located in the heart of Montevideo. Spanning over 1,500 square meters, it is the country’s first private facility certified Tier III by the Uptime Institute, offering enterprise-grade colocation, hosting, and disaster recovery services.
The facility houses more than 150 racks and supports up to 5,000 servers across three dedicated halls. It features redundant UPS systems delivering 700 kW across dual power lines, and five 250 kW generators ensure full energy autonomy year-round. Cooling is managed through external chillers and an indirect water-based free cooling system, designed for high efficiency and reliability.
GEOCENTER includes exclusive cages, secure vaults for data media, and over 500 fully equipped workstations for business continuity. Connectivity is carrier-neutral, with access to providers like ANTEL, Movistar, and Claro. With advanced fire suppression, biometric access control, and 24/7 monitoring, GEOCENTER delivers robust physical and operational security.
