Latos is planning a two-building data center campus in Stockton-on-Tees, just outside Middlesbrough, UK. The project will occupy a 1.85-acre site within the Preston Farm Industrial Estate and include two data halls—DC01 and DC02—totaling 1,725 sqm. Each building will feature a large-scale data hall and be supported by two dedicated electricity substations.

The facility is designed as a “Neura Data Centre,” Latos’ proprietary model optimized for high-speed compute, real-time AI, and edge integration. These compact yet powerful centers are engineered to deliver enterprise-grade performance with minimal spatial footprint. According to Latos, Neura deployments can support average rack densities of 80kW, scaling up to 300kW.

This development is part of Latos’ broader ambition to launch 40 purpose-built data centers across the UK by 2030, spanning both hyperscale and modular edge formats. The company, founded in 2021, has already secured sites in northwest England and is actively negotiating a dozen more.
