Power

Synergy House has its own HV supply and substation enabling the facility to sustain high powered racks

N+1 Scania Generators can take the full load of the building should a mains power failure occur

Chloride energy efficient UPS systems provide N+1 uninterruptible power to our racks with a 10 minute autonomy providing power protection from spikes and mains failures

Cooling

N+1 Airedale HVAC system provides redundant under floor cooling

The ambient temperature is kept at a constant 22degreesC with 50% humidity

Fire Detection and Suppression

The FM200 and VESDA systems provide the most efficient non-water based data centre fire detection/suppression system available on the market today

Synergy House has both FM-200 and VESDA above and below the raised floor, thus giving complete data centre coverage and protection

Security

A secure door entry control system with swipe card entry gives customer access only to the relevant areas of the Data Centre

IP based Closed Circuit Television is prevalent throughout the Data Centre with internal and external monitoring stations

On site 24 x 7 Security

Floor

Split over 2 floors offering 7000sqft of floor space, the Data Centre has a 500mm raised floor which is used to supply conditioned air via grilles in the floor tiles

The supporting weight of the floor is 12kN/sqm

Rectangular brushed grommets are installed in the floor tiles for cable management to the racks

Connectivity

Synergy House is located on Manchester Science Park which boasts the best available Internet connectivity in Manchester

The carrier neutral facility is connected via a dark fibre ring with dual entry points into the building

A great choice of connectivity with tier1 and tier2 bandwidth available plus dark fibre rental

Technical Support

Synergy is manned 24 x 7 x 365 by our fully trained support staff.

We offer a full remote hands service including cabling, troubleshooting, installation and consultancy

Colocation Racks

1/4, 1/2 and full colocation cabinets are available within Synergy House

Each cabinet is 48RU and 600 x 1000 mm

Private colocation cages are also available on larger orders
