Yondr London - Building 2

Yondr Group has launched the first phase of its second data center at its London campus in Slough, UK. This facility is part of a 100MW campus and currently offers 10MW of capacity, with plans to expand to 30MW at full build-out. Designed with sustainability in mind, the building features solar PV panels on the roof, a green wall on the southern façade, and electric vehicle parking spaces. It also boasts a better-than-industry-standard annualized power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.21.

Located on the site of a former paint factory, the project involved extensive ground remediation to remove lead and chemicals. Yondr has collaborated with local organizations to enhance the area, including upgrading a cycleway and providing bat and bird boxes. This milestone reinforces Slough's position as a global hub for data center capacity and supports the UK's ambitions in digital industries.
