The 18.6-hectare site is strategically positioned approximately 5 km east of Slough and close to the M25 motorway. Its boundaries include the Grand Union Canal to the north, the remaining Thorney Lane business park to the west, Thorney Lane North to the east, and a mainline railway to the south. Historically, the site was used for gravel extraction before transitioning to industrial purposes. While Iver is not traditionally a primary data center development area, it is gaining attention with other entities like CorScale and Amazon also exploring development opportunities in the vicinity.
