Stratus Belvedere

Stratus Data Centres is planning a unique 32MW data center campus in Belvedere, East London. This innovative project will feature two identical 18MW, three-story Tier III data centers, designed to be powered directly by a nearby waste-to-energy facility. The facility, part of the Riverside Energy Park, will process two million tons of London's non-recyclable waste annually, generating approximately 45MW of power.

The campus design incorporates flood-resilient features, with all critical components elevated above ground level. It also emphasizes sustainability, including 1,700 square meters of living walls and 2,400 square meters of living roofs to enhance biodiversity. The architecture, described as "industrial vessels," aligns with the site's riverside setting.

This project represents a shift from Stratus' earlier plans for a 100MW facility on the same site, reflecting a more focused and sustainable approach to data center development. The campus is expected to cater to modern data demands while integrating eco-friendly practices.
