Microsoft is proposing the development of a new data center at the Langley Business Centre, located on Station Road in Langley, United Kingdom. This project is focused specifically on data center use, differing from previous outline permission for a mixed-use development. The proposed facility will include data halls, office space, and other ancillary facilities. A substation will also be part of the development, with a separate planning application anticipated for it.

The data center buildings are planned to reach heights of approximately 26.1 meters (86 feet), with administration blocks potentially reaching up to 28.5 meters (94 feet). Microsoft intends to retain boundary trees to provide screening for local residences. The company has engaged with the local community through drop-in sessions to share project details and gather feedback before submitting proposals to Slough Borough Council.
