Daisy has 9,800 mē of available space split across three floors in one of London's largest purpose-built facilities. Daisy is an independent colocation provider and HEX is connected by multiple redundant DWDM fibre networks which provide private and public peering connectivity into London's Internet Exchange (LINX), the German Internet Exchange in Frankfurt (DECIX) and the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMSIX). Daisy maintains a redundant DWDM fibre ring to connect HEX to the other Daisy Data Centres in Manchester and Southampton.
HEX is housed within a purpose built building that offers extremely high levels of physical security. The building is above flood level, has blast-proof laminated windows and is monitored by an onsite security team with access to CCTV which records all facility ingress and egress as well as all common areas and the data suites themselves. The facility has an advanced building management system to ensure that the facility is monitored and maintained to the highest level of operational availability. Temperature, humidity, air conditioning, power are monitored to ensure that the systems are fully available. HEX is manned 24 hours a day by experienced systems engineers and is pro-actively monitored 24x7 by our highly qualified Network Operating Centre team providing on- and off-site monitoring.
