The European Liquidity Center (EULC) Data Center, located in Basildon, Essex, UK, is a state-of-the-art Tier 4-guided facility operated by ICE Data Services. Spanning 30,000 square meters on a 6.5-hectare site, the facility is designed with a robust and secure infrastructure to support colocation and latency-sensitive connectivity needs. It features seven 1,000-square-meter halls, with three currently operational. These halls offer 1MW of power per hall, expandable to 3MW as needed, with Hall 1 dedicated exclusively to colocation customers.

Equipped with dual National Grid power feeds, 48-hour generator fuel storage, and blast-hardened architecture, the data center ensures optimal performance and reliability. Advanced cooling and HVAC systems, along with N+N mechanical UPS and ice storage backup, provide comprehensive power and environmental management. Security measures include Hi-Fog water mist fire suppression, early smoke detection (VESDA), and 24/7 CCTV monitoring.

The EULC offers flexible colocation solutions with cabinet configurations for standard density (4kW), high density (9kW), and micro-colocation (0.5-1kW). Customers benefit from diversified redundant fiber connectivity to ICE’s access centers in London and a suite of network services, including ICE Global Network IP and LCN-LX, designed for low-latency access to financial markets. Additional support services, such as remote hands maintenance and timing solutions like NPLTime®, make the EULC a premier destination for businesses seeking cutting-edge colocation and connectivity solutions.
