The data center will be operated by Dante FS subsidiary Platform Data Centre UK. Neil Rustage, director at Dante FS Group, stated that the facility will offer bespoke infrastructure to support hyperscalers and research institutions, catering to the UK's growing demand for next-generation AI and high-performance computing. While specific capacity and opening dates are not yet revealed, the data center is described as "high density." Power will be sourced from multiple providers, with potential connectivity to the HyNet program for hydrogen energy. The project is anticipated to be a significant driver of economic growth for Warrington, with an intention to utilize local supply chains.
