Redcentric Elland Data Centre, situated just off the M62 near Huddersfield between Leeds and Manchester, is a modern facility encompassing 37,000 square feet of floor space. This Tier 3 aligned, carrier-neutral data center offers private suites, bespoke pods, and secure caging. With connectivity to four carriers (BT, Virgin Media, Vodafone, and KCOM) and direct access to Redcentric’s 100Gb (MPLS) core network, the center ensures fast and reliable communications. The facility also features 2 (N+1) redundancy, providing excellent resilience.

Security and environmental controls are top priorities at the Elland Data Centre. The facility is equipped with 24/7 on-site security, external and internal cameras with digital recording, a proximity access control system, and a securely managed loading bay. It maintains a robust cooling system with minimum N+1 redundancy, keeping the temperature at 25ºC (+/– 3-5ºC) and humidity between 20%-80%. Power infrastructure includes 4 x UPS units with minimum N+1 redundancy, 11kV distribution, twin feeds to racks, and 2 x 2MVA 415V generators with on-site fuel for 72 hours of full load support.

Located at Unit J1, Lowfields Business Park, Lowfields Way, Elland, West Yorkshire HX5 9DA, the data center is easily accessible from the M62 (Junction 24 – Ainley Top). Directions from Leeds and Manchester: Exit the M62 at Junction 24, follow signs for Halifax A629, continue on Calderdale Way / A629, take the slip road for Elland and Lowfields Business Park, then follow the figure of eight roundabout and Lowfields Way.
