XDS Data Centres has launched a 1MW immersion-cooled facility in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Located within the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, this data center is part of the company's strategy to meet rising AI demand with scalable and thermally efficient infrastructure.
The facility uses immersion cooling to optimize performance under live AI workloads. It serves as a validation site for XDS's power train design, thermal systems, and operational consistency, offering clients immediate deployment options while supporting future expansion to multi-megawatt environments.
This Sharjah deployment is the first in a series of planned 1MW data halls. XDS intends to roll out similar facilities in Dubai and Saudi Arabia as it progresses toward larger 10MW sites. A recent partnership with ICS Arabia and its subsidiary Desert Dragon Data Centres aims to deliver such scale by mid-2026.
