Khazna, an Emirati wholesale data center operator, is planning to build a state-of-the-art data center near Ankara, Turkey. The facility, located in the Baskent Organized Industrial Zone, will have a capacity of up to 100MW. The first phase of the project will focus on cloud usage, with future plans to support AI workloads, reflecting the growing demand for advanced digital infrastructure in the region.

This initiative is part of Khazna's broader strategy to expand its global footprint and contribute to Turkey's economic growth. The data center is expected to accelerate digital transformation and foster innovation in the country. Khazna's CEO, Hassan Alnaqbi, emphasized the importance of this project in strengthening ties between the UAE and Turkey, which have seen significant economic collaboration in recent years.
