Equinix Flevokust - Building 3 is located at Haven Flevokust, IJsselmeerdijk 105, Lelystad, The Netherlands. This facility is part of the new Flevokust Campus, a significant development in digital infrastructure by Equinix. The campus is designed to meet the growing demand for digital services in the Netherlands and is a multi-billion dollar investment in the region. It comprises three low-rise buildings, each with two floors, and emphasizes sustainability, including 100% renewable energy usage and energy-efficient cooling systems that do not use drinking water. The campus aims to contribute to the local economy through job creation, both during construction and operation, and fosters collaborations with educational institutions for talent development. Additionally, Equinix is exploring options for reusing residual heat from the data center to supply local homes and companies. The strategic location near Amsterdam's digital ecosystem, coupled with ample space and reliable electricity supply, makes Lelystad an ideal hub for digital development. The campus also includes a dedicated AI lab to foster technological innovation.
