PureDC Amsterdam (Westpoort)

PureDC Amsterdam Westpoort (AMS01) is a significant hyperscale data center development located in the Westpoort area of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The campus spans 5.6 acres and is designed to deliver a total capacity of 78MW, fully leased by a single hyperscale customer. The development comprises three multi-story buildings, each housing 26MW of data halls, totaling 94,660 sqm (1 million sq ft). A key feature is the on-site private substation, already constructed and live, providing a firm connection to the 50kV grid. The data center targets a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.2, aligning with the Netherlands' energy efficiency goals. Development of the data halls is scheduled to begin in January 2026. Pure Data Centres Group is investing over €1 billion in this project, which is expected to create over 1,000 jobs during development and approximately 80 permanent skilled roles upon completion.
