Iron Mountain Data Centers is developing a new facility, AMS-2, located in the Haarlem area of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This upcoming data center will offer a capacity of 10MW and is scheduled for delivery in October 2026. The construction is being handled by Dutch firm Heijmans, utilizing a prefabricated modular building approach. The facility is also being designed to connect to a local district heating network, aligning with sustainability efforts. This development follows Iron Mountain's existing presence in the region with its AMS-1 facility. The company has also been exploring renewable energy solutions, including a partnership for tidal energy and a solar Power Purchase Agreement in the Netherlands.
