Global Switch Amsterdam is located in the Slotervaart/Overtoomseveld district, adjacent to the main Dutch cable infrastructure. This world-class data centre campus is just 2km from the financial district and city centre. 

Directly connected to the national grid and offering 2,000 W/m2 as standard, with higher densities fully supported, the data centre is the city's only provider with a dedicated mains power supply of 72MVA (current and planned) at 50kV.

An extension to the campus, Amsterdam East, is currently under construction and will lead the way in an environmentally sustainable design, targeting a PUE of less than 1.2 and a BREEAM Very Good rating using 100% green energy by implementing the latest technologies such as a flooded room cooling design with hot aisle containment and a free-cooling water-based cooling system.
