The GDC - Amsterdam 1 Campus, operated by NTT DATA, Inc., is a carrier-neutral data center campus located in Rozenburg, the Netherlands, serving the Amsterdam market. The campus is designed to support AI and cloud computing workloads, providing infrastructure for hyperscalers, enterprises, partners, and startups.
The campus comprises two buildings, with Building A currently operational and Building B under construction. It provides more than 7,700 m² of IT space, with an additional 9,700 m² planned as part of the campus expansion. The campus has 60MVA of gross power capacity supplied through two substations, supporting a current client IT load of 20.7MW, with a further 22MW under construction. Power density can reach up to 2.5kW/m², supported by redundant A- and B-side UPS systems and N+1 redundant diesel generators.
Cooling is provided through high-efficiency chiller systems with integrated free cooling, CRAH units, and cold aisle containment. Fire protection includes nitrogen-based gas suppression and Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm (VESDA) systems. Security is supported by a 24/7 Security Operations Center, palisade fencing, video surveillance, and ram-raid bollard protection.
The campus is carrier- and cloud-neutral, with Carrier Access Rooms, Carrier Meet-Me Rooms, and redundant cabling infrastructure. Additional services include client implementation, installation, 24/7 remote hands, facility services, and enhanced security options.
